An artist’s book by Dr. Fania Bajot
Hardcover | 21 × 28 cm (A4) | 30 pages | 23 full-colour plates
Flowers, Memory and Form is not a botanical study—it is an inquiry into how memory shapes perception, and how floral structures, once abstracted, become vessels for emotional architecture.
Through 23 original works, Fania Bajot dismantles the flower not to deconstruct it, but to recompose it from sensation and emotion.
The collection unfolds across three modes of making:
Acrylic paintings built with layered brushwork and intuitive gesture,
Digital compositions assembled from photographic fragments, reconfigured through collage logic,
Hybrid works where analogue texture meets digital precision—tactile and spectral at once.
Here, the floral form is never literal. It is a symmetry of feeling, a rhythm of recurrence, a metaphor for transformation that resists sentimentality. What emerges is not nature, but nature as internal echo—structured, fragmented, and reborn through memory.
As with all Fania B publications, this hardcover artist’s book is conceived to be held, returned to, and carried through time.
It appears alongside textile, fragrance, and wearable works in EMNC: The Portfolio – Issue 1, where art, science, and slow creation orbit a shared creative core.
